Knowledge work is being transformed by Gen AI. Many Software Engineers for example, now use tools like ChatGPT and Github copilot daily to be more productive and have more time to focus on high value tasks.
At Vom we believe the same should happen to decision analysts. In fact we think the potential is even greater than in software engineering since:
Decisions platforms have deep context that can be used by a copilot, like the history of past decisions.
Copilots can bring rare domain knowledge in credit, fraud or other areas decision platforms are used in.
To deliver on this potential we are adding a powerful copilot to Vom, which we call Aura. It's always available to chat at the lower right corner of Vom Studio:
You can chat with it to ask questions about the policy or change it.
All through out our app, you can see Aura Icons too, which you can use to get contextual help, such as explaining a formula or even fixing an error.
Another very cool feature of Aura is that it can proactively suggest improvements to a policy, via the insights Tab.
Since it knows the policy in detail, the suggestions will be actionable and focused on business goals. You can start a chat based on a suggestion and talk more about it, including asking Aura to implement it for you.
This is only our first launch of the Vom copilot, so we plan to grow its capabilities a lot in the future, such as what changes it can do and what context it uses to provide insights.
